This course introduces the basic concepts of piezoelectric materials, which have a capacity to complete a fundamental process of electro-mechanical interaction that represents a linear coupling in energy conversion. The applications of piezoelectric materials are presented, such as, ultrasonic generators, filters, sensors, and actuators.
