This course provides an opportunity for students to learn about agricultural education programs and delivery systems at the state and federal levels. The nature of teaching in school and non-formal settings will be analyzed. The types of agricultural program components, approaches to teaching, teacher characteristics, professional characteristics, and community relationships will be analyzed. Trends, developments, and opportunities in agriculture will be examined.
