This course is the study of basic principles underlying the social studies and language arts curriculum, children’s literature, appropriate materials and methods for kindergarten-primary grades. Concepts and skills relating to the scope and importance of social studies and language arts in the total program will be developed. There will also be laboratory and observation experiences.
