This course is a continuation and refinement of the skills and principles addressed in DANC 200. More emphasis is placed on dance composition and dance history. Contributions to the field of dance by early pioneers such as Martha Graham, Katherine Dunham, Pearl Primus, Isadora Duncan and Alvin Ailey are explored.
