This course is an introduction to the basic principles of accident investigation including the importance, use, scope, and requirements of accident investigation. An emphasis is placed on casual analysis and the people, position, parts, and paper relevant to accident investigation. Topics of discussion also include record-keeping and reporting requirements of federal, state, and local agency standards
