EHS 432 - Design of Engineering Hazard Controls When Offered: F, S, SS

This course is an overview of the design and assessment of engineering controls for the abatement of health and safety hazards in the work-place. An emphasis is placed on cost benefit analysis, and technical and financial feasibility. Topics of discussion include industrial noise abatement, industrial ventilation, machine guarding, and walking and working surfaces.
Prerequisite(s): EHS 313 . Senior or Graduate Standing.
