This course is an overview of system theory and process safety management. An emphasis is placed on regulatory compliance with the process safety management standard of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. Topics of discussion include fault tree analysis, failure modes, and risk analysis and management.

Prerequisite(s): MATH 224 or equivalent and OSH 411. Senior or Graduate Standing.
