KINS 301 - Principles of Strength and Conditioning II 2 Credit(s) 2 Lecture Hour(s) 0 Lab Hour(s)
This course is designed to meet specific competencies needed for students interested in pursuing certification as a strength and conditioning specialist. Training methods such as plyometrics, core stability, Olympic weightlifting, and anaerobic capacity programs are emphasized. The concepts of periodization, proper spotting technique, and test administration are also discussed.
Prerequisite(s): KINS Majors only and minimum grade of C in KINS 201 /KINS 202 and KINS 345 . Corequisite(s): KINS 302 .
