KINS 307 - Principles of Exercise Prescription 3 Credit(s) 3 Lecture Hour(s) 0 Lab Hour(s)
This course will involve the study and application of evidence-based safe and effective exercise programming for people who are apparently healthy. The course teaches how to exercise people of different ages and sex. The course focuses on understanding and applying the key principles in determining the type exercise, overall workload of a workout, and the loading process, best suited for a person based on their specific characteristics.
Prerequisite(s): KINS majors only and a minimum grade of C in KINS 201 /KINS 202 , KINS 204 / KINS 205 and KINS 345 /KINS 346 .
