2 Credit(s) 2 Lecture Hour(s) 0 Lab Hour(s)
This course provides the concepts of thermodynamics and heat transfer: Convection, Conduction and Radiation and how they are applied to building loads. Throughout the course, applications of these concepts will be discussed. In particular, real world applications include heating and cooling buildings, and refrigeration. Specifically, the course covers the various forms of energy, how energy is transformed from one form to another, and the laws that govern energy transfer.
