Students will propose a special writing project to be completed in conference and workshop. The project will be suitable for inclusion in a portfolio for graduate school applications and, in some instances, for submission to a publisher. The semester’s work will include a project proposal and the compilation of a creative manuscript draft. The semester’s work will also include the completion of a critical analysis and the defense and final edition of the thesis.

Prerequisite(s): Completion of one workshop sequence (Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced Workshop) in at least one genre.
