This course is an introduction to principles and techniques of numerical mathematics. Topics in round-off error analysis, the approximation of functions, derivatives and integrals, and the numerical solutions of non-linear equations, ordinary differential equations and the systems of linear equations will be studied.

Prerequisite(s): MATH 231, MATH 240 and 450.
