This course examines financing the start-up of a new business venture or growing venture. The advantages and disadvantages of the sources of new venture financing are studied from commercial banks, angel funding, private placement, venture capitalist, public equity markets and financial plan preparation.

Prerequisite(s): MGMT 343 and ACCT 221.
