This course includes analyses of main works of music literature presented in historical order; form, harmonic, and contrapuntal devices, orchestration, and other stylistic features investigated against the background of historic artistic and cultural developments - Ancient, Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque periods.

Prerequisite(s): MUSI 101 and MUSI 102.
