When Offered: F, S

3 Credit(s)
3 Lecture Hour(s)
0 Lab Hour(s)

It will cover the following topics: the description of geological structures; the kinematics and dynamics of folding and faulting; stress, strain, and rheology; introduction to dislocation theory; micro-structural analysis and principles of plate tectonics.

Prerequisite(s): PHYS 290 .
