3 Credit(s) 3 Lecture Hour(s) 0 Lab Hour(s)
This course covers the foundational concepts and advanced techniques in generative AI, with a focus on Large Language Models (LLMs). Students will explore the underlying architectures, including RNNs, transformers, and attention mechanisms, while gaining hands-on experience in training, fine-tuning, and applying these models to real-world tasks such as text generation, summarization, and chatbot development. The course will also cover ethical considerations, bias in AI, and future directions in multimodal and interactive models. Through coding assignments and a final project, students will acquire both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in this rapidly evolving field.
