This course presents the concepts, principles of hardware and software, communications and computational strategies for scalable, parallel computing systems, the associated computer data structures, programming libraries for parallel programming paradigms. This course is to bridge the gap between the parallel algorithms and applications which are often designed and described in abstract terms and the actual parallel computer architectures and their programming interfaces.
