BIOL 855 - Systems Biology When Offered: F;S;SS
3 Credit(s) This is an advanced graduate level course designed to present recent trends on the systematic study of complex interactions in biological systems, and how these interactions give rise to function and behavior of the biological system. Genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, cytomics, RNA interference, and relevant bioinformatics concepts and applications will be studied. The course will also focus on how high through put data is analyzed, integrated and applied to the understanding of complex biological systems.
Prerequisite(s): BIOL 749 .
