The sociology minor gives students the opportunity to explore social phenomena in greater depth. Our subject matter ranges from families to global communities, from the values and beliefs that societies share, to the ways that we are affected by age, class, race, and gender. The student must complete at least 30 credit hours of academic credits and must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 before declaring the minor.  A minor in this content area requires a minimum of twelve (12) credit hours not included in the baccalaureate degree plan of study at the 200-level or above.
