The Bachelor of Science in Artificial Intelligence (BSAI) program at N.C. A&T is being introduced for Fall 2025 to provide students with a rigorous curriculum that covers foundational principles, advanced techniques, and real-world applications of artificial intelligence. The program integrates theoretical knowledge with practical skills, preparing students for careers in various AI-related fields such as machine learning, computer vision, robotics, and data analytics. The program consists of a comprehensive curriculum that includes Mathematics and Statistics Core Courses, Computer Science and Information Technology Core Courses, and Artificial Intelligence Core Courses. Additionally, students will engage in coursework covering Science, Ethics, and General Education. Notably, students can specialize in one of several areas of interest offered under two tracks: The Applied AI Track and AI Computing and Engineering Track. The program combines rigorous academic training with hands-on experience, preparing students to tackle real-world challenges and contribute to the advancement of AI technology and society. By providing the foundation in mathematics, statistics, computer science, and specialized knowledge in AI, the BSAI program equips students with the interdisciplinary skills and expertise needed to thrive in diverse AI-related roles across industries such as healthcare, finance, automotive, aerospace, gaming, agriculture, and others.
