This course provides an introduction to digital three-dimensional design and sculpting. It will cover the basic concepts of digital 3-D objects design and scenery development. It will also include the fundamentals of modeling and setup of forms and environments. Also, surface effects, lighting, camera placement, and rendering of three-dimensional objects for art making and creative expression will be covered. The creative medium will be a digital modeling and motion program (e.g.,Maya, etc.) to explore digital sculpture as an art form.
