This course covers the fundamentals of timber-framed building design and construction. Topics include, selection of materials, design of foundations, beams and columns, reinforced concrete, and environmental considerations, such as temperature, humidity, condensation, and ventilation.

Prerequisite(s): MEEN 230 or equivalent.
