This course discusses the production, utilization, and system design for energy in food and agricultural productions. Specific topics include: biogas, biomass, solar energy, energy analysis, conservation and management, and electric power supply and motor control. Energy production through photosynthesis and energy flow in biological systems is studied.

Prerequisite(s): MEEN 241 and BIOL 221 or equivalents.
