This course examines the molecular events in cell function using molecular genetics, cell biology, and fundamental biochemistry; using both prokaryotic and eukaryotic systems. The laboratory will emphasize fundamental techniques used in molecular biology.

Prerequisite(s): BIOL 221, CHEM 107 and CHEM 117.
