This course extends the management information systems concepts studied in BUAN 132  about the use of information systems resources from a strategic perspective. The course integrates topics of management, organization, information, communication, and systems theories relevant to managing an organization’s information resources. Specific topics covered include problem recognition and resolution, information systems outsourcing, justification for information systems investment, management of information systems human resources, data resource management, and information systems planning.
