Students complete research modules that emphasize the use of various synthetic and analytical skills. An additional goal is the characterization of the physical and chemical properties of the target molecules as well as the intermediates. Students will develop proficiency in synthetic methods, chromatography, and spectroscopy by working with model compounds.
