CHEN 312 - Chemical Engineering Thermodynamics

The course is a study of thermodynamics principles with special emphasis on chemical process applications and equilibria. Topics included are the first and second laws, properties of single and multi-component systems, expansion and compression of fluids, heat engines, thermodynamics of flow processes, phase equilibria and chemical reaction equilibria.

Prerequisite(s): CHEN 200 , MATH 231  (both with C or higher grade) or consent of instructor.
