This course provides the student with some exposure to civil and environmental engineering problems. Lectures from faculty and consulting engineers are components of this course as well as working in teams and presentation techniques. This course will provide help in engineering applications of calculus, chemistry, and physics. In addition, issues related to civil engineering licensure and professional practice will be discussed.

Prerequisite(s): Freshman standing.
