CM 401 - Senior Capstone Project 3 Credit(s) 3 Lecture Hour(s) 0 Lab Hour(s)
This course is a culmination of all previous construction management-related coursework. Using a real-life project, the course will explore the concepts of project pre-planning, estimating and scheduling techniques, risk management, contract administration, and project management practices. Each student team will be required to prepare a comprehensive written bid proposal in response to an RFP for a commercial project. The completed bid document will be presented to a group of CM faculty and industry professionals. The overall goal of this course is to demonstrate the mastery of the construction management body of knowledge prior to graduation.
Prerequisite(s): Senior standing, CM 400 and CM 438 . (F;S:S)
