This course covers the basic principles and advanced practices in the selection, installation, operation and maintenance of environmental control systems. Topics include mechanical and electrical equipment for buildings, piping systems, water supply and design; sanitary drainage systems and design, HVAC and cooling systems, electrical and lighting and renewal energy systems.

Prerequisite(s): CM 216 and PHYS 225/PHYS 235.
