COMP 321 - Computer System Security When Offered: F, S, SS

This course introduces the principles of information systems security and examines security policies, models, mechanisms for secrecy, integrity, availability and access controls. Topics include common system vulnerabilities and countermeasures, data availability and usage control, authentication technologies, design secure systems, operating systems security, network security, programming language security, and distributed systems security.
Prerequisite(s): COMP 285 .
