This course is designed to access critically the institutional forces that shape and create the demand for Information Technology (IT). It also discusses how the consumption of new technologies impacts the economy and society. This course also helps students to think critically about the ethics of new technologies and their impact on society in a climate of ever-changing social and economic conditions.
