This course provides an introduction to Application Specific Integrated Circuits (ASIC) design. It introduces design tools that can be used to automate ASIC design. Similar tools will be used to develop designs for field programmable gate arrays, traditional gate arrays. Students will also be exposed to custom design tools and techniques.
