JOMC 498 - Mass Communication Internship (formerly JOMC 598)

This class is an off-campus journalism and mass communication experience. Academic supervision is provided by faculty members and direction in the field is provided by an approved supervisor. This course must be taken the semester after passing JOMC 492  (Mass Communication Professional Development Seminar). Junior or senior standing.

Prerequisite(s): There are different prerequisites for different concentrations: Mass Media Production (JOMC 498.01) - Grammar Proficiency Exam, JOMC 206 , JOMC 220 , JOMC 244 , JOMC 259 , JOMC 275 , JOMC 306  or JOMC 375 , JOMC 492 ; Multimedia and Journalism (JOMC 498.02) - Grammar Proficiency Exam, JOMC 220 , JOMC 224 , JOMC 249 , JOMC 325 , JOMC 492 ; Public Relations (JOMC 498.03) - Grammar Proficiency Exam, JOMC 220 , JOMC 224 , JOMC 276 , JOMC 330 , JOMC 386 , JOMC 390 , JOMC 492 .
