This course covers data modeling and analytical functions performed in data management and knowledge discovery in databases (KDD) using query and reporting functions, multidimensional analysis, and data mining. Topics include use of structured query language (SQL) and extraction-transformation-loading (ETL) to transform information and knowledge. Knowledge management strategies and dissemination of information to enhance organizational decision making, efficiency, and facilitate innovation are also covered.

Prerequisite(s): Minimum grade of C in BUAN 132 .
