ECEN 377 - Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence When Offered: F;S

The course objective is to prepare students to learn artificial intelligence techniques using contemporary open source AI tool sets. Students will apply the acquired skills through multiple AI related engineering applications. Basic concepts needed for deep learning development such as linear algebra and calculus will be covered. Students will learn to deploy different deep learning models on edge hardware. In addition, reasoning-based AI concepts will be introduced. Moreover, evolutionary computation concepts and applications will be introduced.
Prerequisite(s): MATH 131 and COMP 163 .
