This course examines the social, economic, political, and cultural and environmental forces that shape our individual and collective experiences in these times and in different parts of the world. Students will learn how current conditions across the globe have been shaped by recent historical developments and will be introduced to concepts enabling them to grasp the contemporary global experience.
