This course is an introduction to an in-depth examination of the agricultural cooperative. Students will gain a working knowledge of the concepts, principles, and terminology of agricultural cooperatives through reference materials, lectures and presentations by guest speakers. The course will also explore the strengths and weaknesses of agricultural cooperative as well as its unique management and operational challenges.
