3The Grammar Proficiency Exam is a pre and post assessment tool administered to students enrolled in JOMC 102 and again to students enrolled in JOMC 220 courses.

JOMC 492 Prerequisites for Mass Media Production: Grammar Proficiency Exam, JOMC 206 , JOMC 220 , JOMC 244 , JOMC 259 , JOMC 275 , *JOMC 306 , or *JOMC 375 (*May be enrolled).
9Scientific Reasoning Elective: Must have 7 credit hours in the scientific reasoning with one lab hour (see the General Education course list for course options).
