Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology, B.S.

Students must complete 120 semester hours of University courses. A minimum grade of “C-” must be achieved in all atmospheric sciences and meteorology, physics, and math courses. Note that a 2.00 grade point average must be maintained in all major courses and an overall grade point average of 2.00 is required to graduate.

3-1ASME Elective: Course must be chosen from ASME 234 , ASME 275 , ASME 285 .
3-2ASME Elective: Course must be chosen from ASME 420 , ASME 423 , ASME 430 , or ASME 440 .
3-3ASME Elective: Course must be chosen from ASME 463 , ASME 470 , ASME 480 , ASME 481 , or ASME 491 .
4Physics Elective: Course must be chosen from PHYS 4xx: PHYS 401 PHYS 412 PHYS 415 PHYS 420 PHYS 430 PHYS 440 PHYS 447 PHYS 475 PHYS 485 , or PHYS 494 .
5ASME 496  - capstone course.
Free Elective (6 credit hours).

Major Program Requirements


Students must earn a C- or better in ASME, PHYS and MATH courses.
